4th Annual CMS Spelling Bee

This is the 4th year Charlotte elementary and middle school have participated in the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Students who wanted to participate were given a grade level list of words which consisted of 100 words from their grade level. The students then competed in a grade level spelling bee to qualify for a school-wide spelling bee. Only the top 5 spellers from each grade level were chosen. The school-wide spelling bee competition then consisted of words from 1st-8th grade. The last student standing qualified as the school champion and will now go on to compete at regionals in San Antonio. The winner of the San Antonio spelling bee will compete in Washington D.C. for the national championship
